My Narmada Parikrma
It was an amazing experience which taught me the essence of a life and gave me manifestation of GOD. In three and half months of walk around river Narmada, I enjoyed life without worrying about future, food and shelter. The miraculous thing is God never let me to slept without food not even for a day, in fact, everyday I was blessed with good food and tea-biscuits whenever desired. The most important things is I got spiritual blessings too. I lived life in Shulpani forest without even iota of fear...how? I don't know. It is a only grace of GOD.

I am pleased to know about starting your Narmada Parikrma.
There is as such no rules to start Narmada Parikrama. One can start parikrama from any location, however, typically it is started from Omkareshwar, MP and some people start from Amarkantak as well.
Normally, Parkramavasi were white Shirt and Lungi but not compulsory.
There are lot of Ashramas on the bank of Narmada river which provides food and shelter in the night for Parikramavasi. Even people from villages also helps Parikrmavasi to give direction of path of Narmada Parikrama, tes and biscuits and food.
It is amazing experience and starting Parkrama without knowing anything is much more important. Narmada Maiyyya take care of everything if you keep have faith on her.

I was just listening to narration on Parikarama by Pratibhatai and visualising the scenes.
Is the first picture posted here is that of Khada Pahaad ? Which has to be crossed in beginning of Parikrama , somewhere around 5Km from Omkareshwar?

Like name of the district in which it is located, it's total span, approximate population , approach by road etc?
